For Android:

  • Open the Email App: Start by opening the email app you use (like Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
  • Go to Settings: Tap the menu icon (usually three lines in the upper-left corner) or look for a settings icon (gear-shaped).
  • Select Your Account: Find and select the email account you want to update or access.
  • Enter the Password: You’ll be prompted to enter your password if it’s required. Type in your new password.
  • Save Changes: After entering your password, tap "Done" or "Save" to confirm and update.

If the app doesn’t ask for a password automatically:

  • Go to Settings > Accounts > Email and select your email account.
  • Tap on the option to change the password and follow the prompts to enter the new one.

For iOS:

  1. Open the Settings App: Go to your home screen and open the “Settings” app.
  2. Scroll Down and Tap Mail: Under the “Mail” section, tap “Accounts.”
  3. Select Your Email Account: Tap the email account you want to update.
  4. Change Password: If needed, you’ll see an option to enter your new password. Tap it and type the new password.
  5. Save: After entering the new password, make sure to tap "Done" or exit the screen to save.

In case you can’t find the password update option:

  • Open the Mail app.
  • If prompted for a password, just enter the new one directly.
